“Yummy Wads”?Madeline should know better. Peter would reject them for their NAME before he would consider the packaging.

Never combine the words “Petey” and “new” in the same sentence.

He said “no” before he heard the name or saw the box. I think she lost him at “something new.”

Petey’s next line: “I rest my case.”

Alice=“insanely happy”?I would not touch Yummy Wads with a ten-foot tongue!

I had my nieces for the past week. It was excruciating. One was balking at a hamburger we made just for her (the others don’t like hamburgers; she doesn’t like hot dogs) because we didn’t buy a package of buns for her one hamburger but gave it to her on bread (white, all she’ll eat). She ended up eating it plain. Mom: “We always give it to her on bread!” Her aunt lets her get away with it.

Smart kid.

Alice, you’re going to pop your eye out.
