    Bill Watterson once did a beautiful strip about finding a dead bird in Calvin and Hobbes. More philosophical that his usual strip, and beautifully drawn.

    just make SURE they are dead. i had one fly into our window many years back and the kids were all sad and crying cause it just lay there. soooooo, i went to get the shovel and when i came back about 10 minutes later it was staggering around. watched it for about another 15 minutes and it flew up to a tree, then flew off. figured it was part cat :)
