Nightgaunt49 takes the joke, pins it to the ground, and beats it to death.

It’s a comic strip. I think some people need to get a grip and not take it and themselves so seriously. Sheesh.

Pretty funny, even if a fairly old rerun. As for Nightgaunt’s comment:

“psychopath”noun1.a person with a psychopathic personality, which manifests as amoral and antisocial behavior, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships, extreme egocentricity, failure to learn from experience, etc.

“psychopathic personality”noun 1.(psychiatry) an antisocial personality characterized by the failure to develop any sense of moral responsibility and the capability of performing violent or antisocial acts

    …Close enough

For my part . . . no offense . . . but I’ve wondered . . . out of curiosity. What is it you do? Such that you can leave 70 or 80 comments on GoComics . . . every single day?

ratdogbert: Beware most the self-proclaimed “expert” who learns a bit of in-group terminology and thinks that is knowledge.

We have here a strip where Lila shows her true self (whether or not it’s psychopathic) while showing no concern that Boyd is commenting on it. (This is necessary for the joke, of course, but what does it tell us if we take it at face value?)

Your first comment suggests concern that people conflate psychopaths and murderers, but I would be very surprised if the expression “psychopathic murderers” (which one rarely sees) was not chosen by the cartoonists to make it clear that they are not being conflated here.
