The design of the E.T. alien was, in fact, modeled on a human baby. Big head and big eyes flip all kinds of nurture switches in the human psyche.
I like the frosting best anyway.
This is why I don’t try to decorate cakes I bake. I’ll frost them, but forget about decorating.
I’ve done about 1/2 dozen wedding cakes and a few other “special” ones- all were baked from mixes with additional ingredients and had many techniques…
