April 23! The presumed birthdate of William Shakespeare, as well as the documented date of his death. And yet, my slavedriver bosses expect me to come to work today…

A literature degree isn’t about base utility, it’s about expansion of the soul. Not “making a living”, but “making a life.” I could be bounded in a nutshell and consider myself king of infinite space, provided I have Hamlet by my side.

“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.” – Groucho Marx.

“irrelevant” isn’t a no-no, as far as I’m aware. Are you thinking of “irregardless”? That’s the one that grates the teeth of grammarians.
