    The last line in the third panel is one of very few times when someone said something in the strip that didn’t end in either a question mark or an exclamation point

    Late post, just found out Nancy and Sluggo were making their baseball bets on the Nancy comic strip. Nancy bet Sluggo that Peppermint Patty’s team would beat Charlie Brown’s team. I’d say thats a pretty safe bet!!
