I rode my 750 through a storm front, lightning and thunder almost simultaneous. My rationale was “I’m running at 75 mph directly into this so it won’t last much longer”. Yeah, stupid but it was a GAS! :-))
No comments on Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter? He was always pushing the envelope for ratings and recognition. Many of us, self included, have done foolish things and come out on the other side, hopefully with a better respect for this life we have been given. But, when you keep pushing things beyond any reasonable semblance of safety you are disrespecting the life you have been given. When you are dead…you are dead, to this life anyway….what’s on the other side is anyone’s guess….I don’t care who you are or what religion you follow. I’ll get off my soap box now.
