I find a little irony in the fact it’s the “Patriots” who’ve resorted to cheating to “win” their point? Actually, had the balls been fully inflated the score might have changed from 45/7 to 45/14, maybe.

Fred Biletnikoff. A man who clearly earned his place in the College and NFL Halls of Fame. I like this little item from wiki: “He played on both sides of the ball his junior season (1963), leading the team in receptions and interceptions and taking an interception 99 yards for a touchdown (off a pass thrown by George Mira of Miami), a record which stood until 1995 when another NFL Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders, broke it by one yard.”

Actually, 11 out of 12 makes sense. Each team selects 12 balls they will use on offense. Let’s say, 11 of those ball were used by quarterback Tom Brady, who prefers his balls (snicker) under inflated. The 12th ball was used by the place kicker and punter who probably want the pall inflated with greater pressure because they can kick it for greater distance.
