Mom and dad sure like to talk about how they only had three TV channels when they were kids. Yeah. Big deal. We may be paying for two hundred, but it's not like we use more than three channels.
Today marks the first day of the regular vertical format over at my other comic strip HUBRIS. (the button for it is there on the right) The vertical format has been running at the main website for Hubris for a couple of months, and no one’s mentioned Carpel Tunnel Syndrome or broken wrists or worn out scroll keys, so I think it’s safe for gocomics. Enjoy.
ABC, NBC, CBS. Sigh – and once again, PBS is out in the cold. (This was way before FOX.) Then again, with PBS, it meant switching from VHF to UHS and ket-fiddling with the dial that controlled the antenna on the roof, and it was still fuzzy. But, but, it’s…. Monty Python’s Flying Circus!!!!!
I’m seriously thinking about trying Clear-Tv. Cable/Satellite are too expensive for the few channels I watch. I’ll see how it works before I cancel and order tivo to satisfy my dvr addiction.
Yep. I canceled years ago when I itemized and figured out that I was paying $25 per movie I watched each month. :-/ I could spent less at an actual theater.

I use about a dozen out of a couple hundred. I sure wish we could have ala-carte subscriptions.
(Isn’t it about time they took the little kid to the ophthalmologist?) (Hey, I got it right the first try! I usually leave out the first L.)

What the heck are you guys talking about? Have you never met a child? The three channels are Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central!

In Denver in the 1960s, we had 5 channels; ABC, CBS, KWGN (sister station to Chicago’s WGN), NBC and PBS.
