I’m wondering why both players are on their knees and why the base runner is headed the wrong direction around first base?!? It looks like they were playing poker on the bag.
It’s a pick off. And looks like the ump has picked a really good reason not to argue.
Come to think of though, the pitcher threw awfully low.
The pick-off attempt should be low and to the glove side.
