Good morning, last night I brought inside “stripey” the runt of “Aunt Watty’s” recent litter. I’ve taken the effort of talking to the kittens and trying to pet them at feeding times. He has been the only one to really respond to the petting and talking. I am able to handle him a little bit, he really responds to back and butt scratches with rubs and loud purrs. This is the second time he has spent the night indoors, usually sleeping under the table in the living room.This morning he was sleeping on the cat bed by the front door. I fed him there, gave him tons of love and let him go out to his family when I fed them. He seems to “get it” a little. That being inside and warm is much better that being outside and cold. One of my co-workers wants one of the kittens, but not poor “Stripey”. I want to give her “Nose” the one with the white face with a grey flame between it’s eyes.The other 3 kittens are more like their Mama, crazy wild and paranoid.I’ll keep trying to tame the others but they are not making it easy. Neither are my catties, Roy and Mama both hiss at him, and Poodle is actually indifferent, so far. She is usually the ringleader of hating on new cats.

Hope everybody doing well this Thursday. As it is relatively warm, I’m going off to get my bloodwork done in a little while.

Oh, Annie – you bother because at the end of the day, you love them all. Beviek – that video is so cute. I don’t think the cats were being jerks either. They just don’t like stuff in ‘their’ space. 2old – great pictures – especially Grumpy Cat and the little video.
