Sigh … another batch of reruns. Conley is REALLY getting lazy. I think the new content : retreads ratio is less than 50% now. That said, the Foodar series was pretty fun.
Berke Breathed said that cartoonists with a daily strip end up looking like Keith Richards after a hard night of partying, which is why he switched to a Sunday-only strip. I’d rather that than have Darby retire altogether.
But I think it says something about the current crop of cartoonists in that Calvin and Hobbes ran for the better part of eleven years, For Better or For Worse for 30, and Peanuts for almost 50—yet we start getting reruns after about 5 years these days.
I love em, reruns or not. they are as funny the second or third time as they were the first. If you don’t like reruns, don’t read them but stop whining.

I’ve mentioned this before on here, but if Darby would put out a book with all of Fungo’s strip I would but it. Add in a Mac book as well. :)

I guess there are no sane cats in Jon’s world. But then, the nutters are more fun.

I’ve read every Calvin&Hobbes and I am still enjoying the daily reruns. And a few others here as well. Get Fuzzy is worth re-reading.

Re shunting: Hear, Hear, or should I say “ReHear, ReHear”? or more precisely, " Reread. Reread"? Really, tho, ReChuckle, ReChuckle.
