DING DONG
Alix: MOM?! PHIL'S HERE!
Phil: Hi, Alix! I brought DVDS and MOVIE CANDY.
Alix: You brought those LAST time.
Phil: And you LIKED it.
Alix: Dude, if you're gonna bring bribes, you gotta mix it up.
To sort of continue on the same subject, it’s spring! Time for nesting and making babies! I have been following several different webcams on the computer (webcams are cameras that display on the web in real time). A webcam is usually mounted pointing into the nest cavity, so us human voyeurs can see what’s going on.
Down in San Jose, the peregrine falcon eggs have already hatched and the babies are being fed by their parents. In Ohio, which is much farther north, the parents are taking turns incubating the eggs - they should hatch about the middle of May.
Here in Canada, where it’s much farther north again, the falcons still haven’t even decided which nest box they want to use. They should start incubating about the middle of May.
So, Val, what stage are you at? Or does the idea of more babies cause you to cringe? I think it would be nice. Time for a boy, too.
Remember, spring makes all the hormones start working!!

Poor Phil, he’s trying so hard, but the girls aren’t going to make it any easier for him. :-(
