    Physicists are still stumped by the one-way-time question. It’s right up there with what was there before the Big Bang and just what the heck is a photon.

    Well, since time is just an aspect of human observation of time-space, it’s not real. It’s just an apparent characteristic of the particular permutation of time-space that happened to come out of the bang to form this particular universe. It’s not time that has direction. It’s human perception that experiences it directionally. For all we know, it runs the other way, and we just don’t remember what’s going to happen.

    neverenoughgold: Ha! 81 is young in my family. While my father died prematurely just short of 90, his sister made it to 103, as did my mother. I’ll be around to annoy you all for quite awhile. My wife’s aunt was functioning at 109.
