Who handled production on the Nitrate’s previous “Captain Video” scam?

Help! I’m drowning in irony! The irony is really multi-layered today, with Sprocket worried that the scammers may be scammed, and Silver doubting that Kandikane (whom he so far knows by voice only) could like a man with grey hair—of which, Vitamin, her main squeeze, has an abundance!

I just hope Kandikane doesn’t get hurt. She’s the sweetest character this strip has had in a long time.

Sprocket is right to be skeptical. Agate Aggie will no doubt remember her early work and expose the two just as Vitamin did. Silver’s schemes and Sprocket’s loyalty is almost laughable but remember, they can be vicious as Lena when cornered.

Does anyone remember the cereal that had a balsa jet in the box? I also remember Lady and the Tramp on a cereal box that had a plastic figure of one of the dogs from the movie. I can’t remember the cereal name there either.

anyone else find it slightly odd that xena doesnt question Kandikane’s statement/order to CANCEL the order for vitamin’s.. vitamins.

xena works for vitamin, NOT the snooty chick with the bad hairstyle and “Grandfather Issues”

even MORE peculiar is that she bursts in the door, shouts the order to xena, and it gets DROPPED right at that point. on top of THAT.. theres the call to vitamin from tracy that we have NO IDEA what its about because that TOO was discarded so that we could “eavesdrop” on miss nausea 2015’s conversation with the nitrates.

Hey this just occured to me… B.U. TIFFIL IS AN ACTRESS TOO!!! maybe someone somewhere will have an idea to call her in and have her audition for the commercial.

That’s the kind of question we usually hear shouted out from under the overpass, with a LOL added.

Kandikane now knows Silver’s name—or, at least, his first name. At some point, I expect she will mention to Vitamin that she’s working with a man named Silver and, at that point, the Nitrates’ little scheme may become unraveled.

Silver & Sprocket should be in a Dick Tracy cartoon now for a bowl of Sugar Crisps..

Yes, Silver and Sprocket are examples of thieves with little brains, and lots of $ in their eyes.

She brushes her teeth every day. That can go a long way to protect from eating sweets everyday. Or so I heard. As for the latter, she probably exercises, and lately Vitamin has been giving her quite a workout.What I don’t get about this strip is the conversation in the last panel. Sure the last line is funny, but what does not liking men with gray hair have to do with finding them out and getting her hooks in to Silver for a bigger fee?

Does anyone know how the Nitrates got from the bottom of that lake?

The Nitrates days of scamming will end soon!
