I’m wondering if it wasn’t after Lucy was introduced and her classic personality was introduced that Patty and Violet became their classic selves. Lucy was actually a toddler when she was introduced, but she wasn’t the crabby, know-it-all, fussbudget when she was introduced. That personality came later.
