    They don’t wrap things anymore, anyway. I remember growing up in the 60s all the fuss about not using paper, saving the trees etc. Then along came the plastic bags. A few years ago there was a huge fuss about them being non-biodegradable, etc. and supposedly they were banned in Europe. Funny, we still see them everywhere. I usually carry my own shopping bags, and people in shops still put things in plastic bags and hand them over, even when I say not to.

    Puting the wrapping paper in the wastebasket was long before you would remember to recycle wrapping paper putting it in a recycling bin.
