Like the NY or LA Times, RS is just an ultra-left, liberal rag.

Actually, while “Jaquie” was a faker, there was a lot of embarrassing truth in the article, and they did apologize and retract from the false part, not like WMD’s and the Bush, Cheney folks. Dick’s still laying it on thick on the torture routine.

“Fox news … number one for the last decade.” Only in the “24-hour Cable News” demographic.10X more people wathc 60 minutes on Sunday night, even when per-emted by a late football game.… and John Stewart has a bigger audience than Hannity and O’Reilly put together. So what was your point anyway? Lying on TV News pays?

They do not get sued for the same reason national examiner, national inquirer, the sun and a host of other “NEWS” sources do not get sued. They are entertainment outlets. The are number one because they have no peer in the rightwing (and little competition {tho the blaze is trying}) conservative venue.

The “Usual mainstream” alphabet media are dedicated to selling Advertising for toilet paper, toothpaste and car insurance. To do this, “If it bleeds, it leads”, is their mantra. They no longer report; they are Ghouls who feed on human misery.

Denis and Logic (left)alone; P.T. Barnum long ago defined the audience for Faux news and your other “conservative” sources- and you guys spend so much time looking at the egress. (and tell us how beautiful it is!)

Google NG-49’s avatar, “Night Gaunt.” It’s mildly humorous and instructive.

… worn-out old “Fox sued for the right to lie in Florida.” canard…

It would appear Snopes debunked this nonsense a long time ago:http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/foxlies.asp

Snopes is quite some distance from a right-wing organization.

“Fox sued for the right to lie in Florida.” You can keep saying that. It doesn’t make it true. Do some basic research and read the actual court case instead of spouting talking points. You might learn something.

Hmmm, a dead link to what appears to be (from the url) an opinion piece in a Philadelphia newspaper about a court case in Florida. Yep, that’s convincing, convincing that you are parroting talking points.. Read the actual court case and learn.

denis: just a note: a friend my son’s age spent three tours in Iraq and two in Afghanistan in EOD blowing up those old rounds. I was talking to my son one night when he was in Bagdhad when an IED went off “uncomfortably” near him. He said he’d call back later. It turned out the tranny of the truck went through the door he was standing next to, and they figured the truck had 17 of those old 105 rounds in it when detonated. (He was mad ’cause he had to try to find a new door the next day!)

My sources a a little more knowledgable and reliable than Rush, Faux, or O’Reilly.
