Iraq DID have WMDs and it was very naive to think otherwise. Insurgency WAS on the ropes before the “bug out” gave them the time to regroup and recoup.
There are many non-American posters here on GC. How many of you consider George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Condi Rice war criminals?I certainly do. (Domestic criminals as well!)
And don’t use the “hate” word, Cheney is merely the most dispicable individual to ever hold public office, appointed or elected, in U.S. history, and his performance has been consistent since the Ford administration. Hmm, and Rumsfeld is his mentor?

If it wasn’t torture, why is it a big deal to release the report?
Why did the CIA spy on Congress?
If the torture (which it wasn’t) was so effective, why can’t they provide examples?
If we, as Americans, shouldn’t be ashamed of what was done, (whatever it is) why is releasing the report a big deal?
Why were the Abu Ghraib prison guards punished by the Bush administration and held up as shameful ‘bad apples’?

And Cheney proves again that at least for those who believed a word ever crossing his lips, Gruber was corrrect.
