I don’t think Val has it sitting on the computer keyboard. It’s slightly to the left of the keyboard. It just appears to be on top it because of our angle of perception in the frame.

Evie has tea due to tea flap outside of cup unknown if Val has tea no tea flap. Though Val does drink tea.Cleaver comments on extra baggage.
