Try you Tarzan yell!

Tantor, don’t make me come over there.

If that is all it takes anyone can stop an elephant just by yelling “Tantor”. Does Tarzan have a special accent or tone in his voice?

What if this elephant doesn’t know Tarzan?

Tarzan will be walking the bull elephant on a leash in no time.

I wonder if Tarzan screams “TANTOR!” in bed at night? Must drive Jane crazy! :)> FantasyDreamsOfTantorAGowa!!

“I’m sorry sir, Mr. Tantor is in a meeting right now. If you’d like to leave a message, I’ll be happy to pass it on to him as soon as he’s free.”

I guess Burroughs didn’t know bull elephants generally travel in small groups or alone, entirely separate from the cow elephants.

Oh well, there goes the neighborhood! Good thing they don’t have noise ordinances..I wonder who turned that mouse loose.
