Interesting little thing the “Swing” episode of “Endeavor” on PBS had inspector Thursday taking a “bad guy” down with the exact same move as used in N.Y..

^^^^ And is used by most police when a criminal isn’t going with the program. The criminal just doesn’t usually have tons of undisclosed medical issues. And previous arrests.Btw….We have transcripts of the grand jury in Ferguson and will soon in NY.I doubt all those jury members are racist……. Lol

This is off-topic, but…Today is Pearl Harbor Day. Thank you to our military, past and present. As we used to toast in the army; Here’s to absent friends.

Conservegov: I agree, I don’t think all of those jurors were racist. Just gullible, stupid, and far too willing to be led around by authority figures. I would expect any reasonably intelligent person to ask the judge just exactly whaat the role of the grand jury was. Because it’s NOT to decide guilty or not guilty, it’s simply to decide whether there’’s enough evidence to warrant a trial. And that “prosecutor” should be kicked out for doing the opposite of what his job is; he was acting as a defense attorney

I’m sure members of Congress from both major political parties would be happy to champion that cause for you.

Tape from Seatle shows a “poor handcuffed woman” getting hit by a cop, after she starts kicking him, and when told to stop, kicks him in the face. He then hits her in the face and tells her again to stop kicking. It’s a perfect illustration of how safe and fun it is to protect and serve.

Grand Jury deliberations on the testimony they see and hear are secret to prevent abusive pressure from interest groups and the government. Would you want your case sent to trial because you were unpopular? Like it or not, our Grand Jury system does protect all citizen’s rights.

And anyone who disagrees with your partisan view is racist? Legal experts disagree with you.

Good Heavens! Another of those rare occasions that I find myself agreeing with you Harvey. Heck, even an analog clock that has totally stopped still tells the correct time twice each day. Keep it up, you may reach three times eace day!!

In the Ferguson grand jury, they were given a version of a law to decide whether cause existed to begin a prosecution that had been found unconstitutional. I don’t know if that voids the grand jury findings, but it should. The prosecutor who did that effectively fooled the grand jury as to the standard for possible guilt.

I wonder if those who monitor the body cam video feeds can be trusted to not edit out the politically objectionable parts? I’m going to go out on a limb and say no.

There was nothing to present in the Garner case to warrant a criminal indictment, especially for “homicide” or first degree premeditated murder. Violating policy btw; if you even actually do, is still not violation of law, or a criminal act.

If Trayvon Martin had been wearing a body cam, Zimmermann would be serving life without parole.

If folks NOT committing any crime are killed, there’s a high likelyhood of race being at the source. If folks ARE committing a crime, even a misdemeanor, and the police are trying to do their job, it’s far less likely the source.
