Interesting how Randy never ratted on Ralph in “A Christmas Story.”

Petey is too good-hearted to leave Alice stranded in the snowdrift, but I would be sorely tempted….

Question: When you were a kid did you go sledding or sled riding? In the suburbs of Cincinnati we went sled riding. Now I like to sit by the fire and watch it out of the window. LOL.

As a kid, I went sledding in Dormont Park in Pittsburgh, PA. Now, I can’t visit the grandkids in polar-vortex Wisconsin this time of year, because of the snow and other comforts.Incidentally, I recently found that while US 19 is a main drag in St. Petersburg, FL, it also abuts Dormont Park in Pittsburgh!

North Jersey: sledding. And we too persisted, regardless of how cold or wet we got! Helped that we were only a block from the best hill.

On a farm in Minnesota, we went sledding. I remember being bundled up so much in layers underneath a snowsuit, I could barely move – it was great for rolling around on the ground!

I grew up in Southern California. What’s this sledding you talk about?

Southern CA……museum in LA would haul snow from Mt Baldy and dump it on a hill so kids could sled……but once I could drive I went up on my own or travel up north.

NYC suburbs, we went sledding. Everywhere I have been in the northeast US, it’s sledding.I wonder if this is Petey’s first experience with blackmail.

Sledding in NW PA. Petey should be more patient. One ride down doesn’t qualify as taking your sister sledding.
