So whose to suit up for Milford? Wynn Wiley, Austin Shuford, Max Ortiz, Jimmy Jarboe and Knox Foley? What Gil is really saying to True and Omari is, “Boys, you’ve outlived your usefulness. Time to introduce some new faces.”
After a long season? Gil wouldn’t even let Tru(e) play until half of it was over. Still, if Tru(e) is out of the picture I can stop this damn putting (e) after everyone’s name finally. :)
The HS teams around here have been playing basketball for weeks now. And for some of these schools the best players have not even suited up yet because they were in the football playoffs that just ended here last Friday and Saturday.
If Omari is so swamped with recruiters that it’s practically a full-time job, shouldn’t we have seen more of this talent on the field? Seems like he was shown making a tackle maybe twice.
Not that I ever experienced it, but being recruited is taking up all his time? He’s a lineman, I doubt he has 500 college coaches beating down his door. On the other hand, nobody is beating down my door looking to syndicate Mopped Up Thorp.
