Nice to have a box of knock-off replicas handy, Fumble-fingers! Bless old Granny, I bet you gave her lots of grey hairs….

Tucked away in a box in the closet I have a glass Christmas ball that my great-grandparents brought over from the old country back in 1888. I can’t imagine the tree they hung it on, because it’s about 7 inches in diameter and weighs a ton. The metal part at the top is solid brass.

Looks like this week’s arc will involve Monty’s losing the combo to the ornament safe or setting it on fire. Whaddaya think, gang?

With 2 cats, we don’t hang ornaments any more.

The cats I had as a kid would bat at the tinsel, but they were pretty tree-safe. Neither they, nor the cats I had as an adult, were 5-o’clock “feed me!” types, either. I credit their upbringing.
