Anyhow… never got a chance to post on yesterday’s forum… wanted to say we’ve been having major rainstorms….We NEED the rain…but it’s been 2 solid days and nights of it and forecast to continue through tomorrow.Luckily, my neighborhood has (knock wood) so far escaped the power outages and minor flooding seen in other parts of town, and other cities.
But I HAVE been having trouble with my internet connection, and with being kept awake at night…but I’m fine.Thanks to those who wondered.
I bet Todd tries to hide every time they come in, whatever store he’s working in, but everyone else beats him to the storage room. Susan we need a little rain here also but only have the chilly weather. Hope it stops so you can get out for a while..
Don’t feel bad for Todd. I suspect the staff has a special box behind the counter. Normally, bad videos get tossed, but in that store, they go into the “Penny Box.” Whenever the Penny’s rent one of those titles, the clerk switches with one from the Penny Box. Makes them come all the way back to exchange. Since they’re going to try to get out of paying anyway, might as well play with them. They do appreciate the staff’s recommendations. They are gratified that the staff must be suggesting the very most popular titles, because they so often get one that’s worn out from so many people watching it. It’s fun to see how many times you can make them come back before they get one good copy. It’s easy to keep them coming by giving them refunds. They’ll do anything to get something for nothing.

It is wet down here in Lompoc as well SusanSunshine I actually did a 11 mile bikeride in the rain wind and dark.
