I know what Latte is. If “natte” is a reference to latte via naughty…a bit of a stretch for me. If there is something that is coffee called matte, then I guess it works. I just have never heard of it.
Google tells me that ‘Natté is French for “plaited” or “braided,” and natté fabric has the appearance of basket weave with interwoven yarns.’ So, I guess the Santa Claus character polluted the boy’s coffee because he was braided. … I give up.
