Good morning everyone. Rain on Ballard St, Sun is coming out here. Thats a good thing IMO. :) Peace.

Sorry to say this will be some sad commentary. Yes friends it’s true, Ted trusts no one. There are people with deep seated issues and then there’s Ted. Ted’s father ran away to the Philippines with a balding Italian pizza delivery guy. Ted thought his mother Ruthiemae who was a cook for a lumber jack crew blamed him for the horrible incident. This left Ted an emotional midget. Then there was the awful episode in his speed reading class, as you know there was some temporary eye damage but the emotional scars lingered for years. Sadly the parade continued into Ted’s college days and after graduation, if Ted’s uncle hadn’t given him a job as night clerk in an eight room motel on route 72 just east of Toledo, I’m sure the rest of the story would have been just too grim to tell. The only bright spot and his saving grace was meeting Shirley, they married and moved to Ballard Street where his sometimes peculiar behavior is largely ignored.

@beviek If you drink expensive beer, are you able to tell that they’re ugly? :-)

Ah, kids and grandkids are gone, the house is ours again. Now what do I do with all this turkey?Ted and Angel have been reading the National Inquirer again, It predicted floods for January, and you know, if you read it in the newspaper it must be true.

Bev Great avatar, it certainly depicts our weather here, Mild and sunny and today cold wet and slushy!

I’ll have my turkey soon for today (not like Thanksgiving) but just more breast meat with avocado, etc. I think more like a salad – cold, because the temp here is now 78. I’ll have one of my Sessions Black from Full Sail Brewery. I also have a 12 pack of the Amber Ale of theirs but have not opened that yet (already know I like it).

And NO to ugly (or unintelligent) men!

Angel and Ted read about Noah’s Ark, but figured they only had time for life jackets. Meanwhile, they plan to slosh to the Ballard Creek to pick up a canoe for the rest of the way.

It’s almost 10AM now and I just finished my workout. Only 54F now but we’ll have in the 70s this afternoon, so I’ll have a drink while continuing to read current book in the garden.
