@Zuhlamonisn’t it amazing; the democrats wanted to let everyone vote, whether they had identification or not, and yet they didn’t show up. If that was not a repudiation I do not know what it was. I do know like everyone else the DEMS LOST, and all the whining in the world will not change that.
The American China agreement on pollution standards highlights the necessity of developing the peaceful use of nuclear power. The only way those standards will be met is by developing non-polluting energy sources. I don’t worry about the large nations having nuclear weapons (although I’d rather they didn’t), but small ideologically driven nations like Iran who might want to make a statement and bully other nations despite the consequences is a concern. Once again Obama is taking the sensible pragmatic approach and treading the fine line between allowing nuclear power generation, but denying non-peaceful uses. The knee-jerk critics who would prevent a practical solution by denying all use, or the McCains who would “bomb, bomb, Iran,” are not going to provide a workable plan.
@Zuhlamon, You mean those other toons (about 80% of them) that slavishly support any action by this liberal, or any liberal administration. It kills you guys that there any decenters out there.
How much?.They’ll do it because it is in their own best interests. Several million people dying prematurely annually from respiratory illness is not acceptable. And don’t underestimate the ability of the Chinese to adapt and change.
You forgot, " If you like your plan, you can keep your plan" and " I’ll be more flexible after the election." And don’ t forget, “Elections have consequences”. He’s got a million of ‘em. Don’ t forget to tip your (underemployed) server, ladies and germs. She’s gotta pay for that Obamacare policy somehow.
