Thanks John for telling it like it is instead of these empty thank yous. Thank yous don’t give a job feed a veteran’s family or give him back his dignity. We have thousands of disabled veterans living on the street while we pay professional sports people millions to throw a ball, catch a ball or hit a ball. To a man who has given his limb or worse we say thanks Some value system we have
Tell ya what,..just walk into a Veteran’s Hospital some day and you will be shocked (horrified) as to what they have been rewarded with for their dedicated service. It’s disgusting….not to mention disgraceful.

Actually when my father got done serving the Marines got him back to NY State but not to his home town. He had to hitchhike from Buffalo.
