I’d rather vote for a 3rd party candidate I believed in full well knowing he/she has zero chance of winning, than a “lessor of two evils.”

I can’t find where to get a “Voter ID”. Hmm…..So Teddy, your guys lost because people voted for the Evil Party and were BANNED from voting because they didn’t have a “Voter ID”. Lol

Hey Ted, maybe you’re the one one who’s wrong. Ever think of that? No, obviously not. Just keep demonizing people for daring to disagree with you and patting yourself on the back for being so open minded.

Guess Ted won’t be getting on a plane or using his credit card either, since both of those actions usually require a valid .gov picture ID

If Mr. Rall hates everything and everyone in this country so much, he is free to emigrate to a more ‘enlightened’ country. They would welcome him with openness and generosity.

Bill_Clay: Sorry, Hans, but Bush was installed in 2001 because 20,000 votes, votes from people who DID go to the polls and vote, were THROWN OUT in one Florida county, Duval. And most of those votes were thrown out in predominantly Democratic precincts. And the Supervisor of Elections sat in a corner and conveniently didn’t mention it for some time.

If those votes had been counted, it would have given Gore a narrow victory, what Republicans call, when it’s their candidate, a landslide and a mandate.

This confuses me. Someone who puts THAT much thought into voting is very, very likely to have a valid form of ID..Love ya Ted, but you lost me on this one.

If you don’t think you can vote for either party and can’t stand the existing third parties then start your own party and try to get people to vote for you. That is also part of the freedom you possess (and should be grateful for).

No one’s single vote decides a big election. Therefore, the only way you can throw your vote away is to vote for someone you don’t like and don’t believe in.

In the contemporary world, the cases of voter fraud seem to be microscopic. However, attempts at voter suppression should energize rather than discourage those who are targeted by them. The fact that they don’t, or that the energy doesn’t show up at the polls, is due to the leadership of the party that is supposed to represent them. Or rather the lack of it.

Yup, those dang ID’s are such a problem. I guess you never cashed a check, bought beer, stayed in a hotel or boarded a plane. Just a leftwing cop out.
