Philistines, the lot of ya!It’s useless to say they wouldn’t know art if it bit them in the heinie. because they wouldn’t understand it if you explained it.How embarrassing for poor Patty. And yet she drug them to the museum. Will she never learn?

My cardiologist uses less than $5 of materials when he works on my ticker. I’m not paying him for gauze and alcohol, I’m paying him to keep my sorry a$$ alive. That might not be worth a lot to some folks but it’s worth a lot to me!

At least they know a ‘good’ clown painting when they see one.

Gosh… years ago I saw a tiny little Rembrandt in the De Young Museum in San Francisco….

It was very pretty, in that Dutch master kind of way… a little dark, you know…and really really old….but it would go well with my Victorian stuff.

At the time I thought it must be pretty expensive, so I didn’t ask…but after talking to Burl, I think I should have.

I mean, now I see that maybe Rembrandt couldn’t sell for all those years… probably cos it was so small.I should go see if they still have it … I mean, it should be on clearance by now, right?

If it is, I should get it, don’t you think? I mean, I still remember it… it was so cute.

Maybe they can pick up a picture the elephant or monkey made to help the zoo. Or they can find one a dog or pig did maybe cheaper. Some things they call art does look like a kid did in kindergarten , but art is art. I should have kept the ones I did in school??

I just realized something: These are the people who have a painting of a clown labeled “clown” and a tree labeled “tree”.

Susan Go for it, it’s probably in the back of the “Slashed by 50%” stack. I think I saw it marked down to $13.64.

The price includes the frame Dale. Think before you speak, you can’t make a frame.
