My grandmother used to do that. Fold the top of each page down again the spine of the magazine. It makes a nice triangular shape.
We did that at one of the ladies’ meetings at our church. But I didn’t really care for it much.
I remember doing that with Reader’s Digests, and I wanted to make some with my grandchildren, but it doesn’t work any more because the new ones are full of cardboard pages in the ads, and they don’t have enough pages. :(
