We already have a panic czar. It’s called Fox “news”.

The media is panicing, and telling the people that they are panicing. I don’t know one actual person who is any more than mildly interested. This is like the weatherman interrupting perfectly good TV to tell us that it’s raining. If we wanted to know that it was raining, we’d be looking out the window, not trying, unsuccessfully, to watch a show on TV.

With DLee: In recent times, ever since Wolf Blitzer and CNN showed the “news” media how, they have been less in the news business and more in the extremely shrill hysteria-mongering-because-it-gets-viewers-equals-MONEY business. I know more people who are disgusted with the “experts” in charge of this event and who are showing the professionalism, care, diligence and expertise of the Keystone Kops doing clown impersonations than any who are panicking like this. No, scratch that. I don’t know anyone who is following this story who is panicking at all. Just disgusted.

Yes, Ebola, immigrants, ISIL infiltrators, and Rick Perry, serious threats that say we should close that porus border, with Texas! (Remember; it’s Texas and Perry, who didn’t want viable public health care to “burden” them, that let the Ebola guy slip through THEIR cracks.

If Republicans DO get the Senate even more under their control than with the filibuster, and keep the House, yes, we ARE screwed!
