That’s because the Kurds want part of Turkey as a homeland especially the Ararat region

It always amazes me to hear liberally talk about giving away what they do not own. Perhaps you will donate all property that you own. Your living room can be the start.

And did conservatives even GET the association of NOT giving Kurds their own homeland, which Turkey has fought to prevent? Of course if the U.N. created another nation for that reason, we’d have to arm them, give them nukes, and let them wage war on all their neighbors to steal yet more land than they were given, yes, given.

Lots of pontificating here… how many of you have first hand experience with the Kurds? I do, including a year in Iraq as an advisor about 18 months ago.

They are by far the most Western-Friendly and straightforward of the whole lot in that part of the world. There are Sunni Kurds, Shia Kurds, Christian Kurds, etc. and unlike their Arab neighbors, THEY DON’T CARE. They stand together. They also tend to be heavily pro-American for multiple reasons, some dating back to the first Gulf War.

During my time in Iraq, I saw the daily reports on terror attacks etc. Kurdish territory was orders of magnitude safer than the rest of the country outside of the heavily secured Green Zone.

These are the people we should be supporting!

Israel is only our ally because we’ve supported them with money and weapons, and we’ve been willingly complacent in their efforts to capture what remains of Palestine.

Toeknee Fingers: According to several contacts there from my seminary days, there is about as much variety as in this country.

It has everything to do with the notion that Israel wouldn’t be an ally of the US if our government opposed the systemic land theft and subjugation of Palestinian citizens by the Israelis since 1947.

“Judging by the vibrant economy of Hong Kong and the non stop destruction of the middle east, it’s quiet hard to tell there is a difference between far east religious beliefs and mid east religious beliefs. sarcasm.”Hong Kong has a GDP of 381 billion. The United Arab Emirates has a GDP of 383 billion. And, in case you weren’t sure, oil is only a small part of the UAE’s economy.Hong Kong holds a unique place in Asia, but whatever their religion, they are certainly looking at a lot of unrest & uncertainty.

“and there you have it folks, liberal propaganda ate up by the loony liberal and squeezed out on command.”Propaganda? Israel has deliberately been “settling” and thereby confiscating areas around Jerusalem & the most valuable parts of the West Bank. So nice of them to leave the Palestinians with leftover desert.
