    Hah! Great cartoon, and so true. Here in Calif, water comes in a small glass if at all.

    once many years ago in tonopah, nevada, i stopped at a diner for a bite to eat: price of a coke: $0.25; price of a glass of water: $1.50.

    Most of California, and most all of southern California has always been desert, it’s just drier now BTW: the natives when the Spanish came called what became the Los Angeles basin “the smokey place”, due to inversions and the natural chapparal fire regimine. Which is why stuffing all htose people, cars, and industry in there wasn’t smart from the beginning.

    Owens, Feather, Colorado- the rivers where California gets their water, are all running out, it ain’t just about the California drought.
