Hubby was at a company dinner when some sweet young thing tried to put the make on him. He told her politely No Thanks, to no avail. He finally held out his left hand and asked her, very sharply, if she knew “what this means” (i.e. his wedding band). She tried to laugh it off and told him it was “only for tonight”. He just got up and walked away.

Val – is he ever going to be more than a “nice boyfriend”?

I’ve given up as well. Maybe we can form a support group. Meet at bars and get snockered. Singing “Les Bourgeois” to all the youngsters.

Gals – DON’T give up. Online makes it easy and there are good guys out there. I’m 77 and dated one I thought was perfect for me for 9 mos (except he was SO into square dance and I tried, but just not my thing). I’m back online and I’ll find what I want (no doubt)!
