…besieged castles in the past had diseased animals catapulted into them by the enemy…
Oh dear, Americans are the enemy. Say, since you guys have been stuffing yourselves with GMO meat for the past…so many years, how’s your health in general?
The cartoon is a bit misleading. Americans companies are not sneaking GMO food into Europe, much less dropping it in like bombs. They are working through legal channels to allow such foods to be grown and eaten in Europe by those who wish to do so.
Jack, how did I express hatred of Americans in my post?In the cartoon we see GMO carcasses being catapulted into the EU castle. If they are being hurled in, then whoever is hurling is therefore perceived to be the besieged’s ‘enemy’.The cartoon is representing EU’s refusal to accept GMO meat from the US as it is banned within the EU. The US wants dearly to export its meat to a lucrative EU market and would like science to prove its case. Hagen perceives it to be a little more forceful, hence his cartoon.Got it now?I’m open to debate hence my question: How is the health of Americans after consuming hormone laden meat for years?….let science settle it afterall.
By the way, if I have a “God awful attitude”, it isn’t divine.
Thanks for clarifying. By now I would have thought my positions on this forum as regards nationalism/nationalists was pretty clear amongst regulars. I’m usually careful when expressing disdain not to target nationalities; I usually target countries’ governments, not their peoples (unless the people have overwhelmingly voted that government in and support its policies that I am criticising). I do not hate any nationality.

Didn’t California vote down an initiative to require labeling foods containing GMOs?

Countries with severely impoverished populations aren’t ‘refusing’ GMO and the rich EU isn’t starving.
