^Christie never lived in a “third world” country as a kid, and observed first hand how the “real world” works. He also didn’t have a family cultural background to draw from historically, if not always personally from another part of the world where conflict is common, and tribalism more openly proclaimed, or persecuted.
Watergate, Iran-Contra, Panama, Project for a New American Century, WMDs – yeah, right, let’s talk about lying, corrupt, incompetent, and train wrecks. But at least they weren’t brain-dead per se, as their klan got really, really, rich off all the devastation they caused.
Dude, both those conflicts are about land. Of course people living in the US will get along better than in the countries that are involved in the land disputes. They’re a lot more removed from the depute living here than if it were in their proverbial back yard.
