Val: I have to leave early! You two can ride the bus!
Holly: WHAT?! Only the geekiest of geeks ride the bus!!
Val: Better hurry. Your people await you.
Holly: MOM!?
I looked back days ago where Max is concerned. My own son when he was that age that was 24 years ago. We had him with the wrong Dr. and he at 3 wasn’t speaking and we had a hard time putting him in his own bed he wanted to be with me. Finally found a pediatrician who discovered his ears where filled with fluid from wrong treatment. Well two ears of ear tubes and speech therapy from school he improved but as an adult no interest in any schooling.
My kids didn’t take the bus we lived in a small town within walking distance. Me I had to take bus to high school before the state started racial busing. Grade school and Middle school we walked or parent took us to school.
“Spell check has me spoiled I am loosing out on spelling correctly. I wonder for teenagers or kids who learn in school if they get that advantage.”
Spell check has it’s limits. It can’t tell if you have the wrong (but correctly spelled) word… and sometimes it suggests the wrong word depending on how you miss-spell.
Well for me the difference in word usuage. Like loose to lose or farther futher. I should use a dictionary more.
Actually wish we had an English teacher who could evan show me a better way for sentence structure.
As a side note I had my rt shoulder surgery last Monday. There was a tear w/arthritis in that area and more arthritis. I am glad I had it done. I can feel difference and I do have itching at times doesn’t bother me. My arm is swollen and very sore. Stitches come out Mon. then therapy. Mean time I and my husband for this weekend especially Sunday will be married 29 years and I told him in honesty it doesn’t seem that long of a time seems short time. Though he is 10 years older I would not know what to do without my very loving and caring main man. I adore him.

I rode the bus all through Senior Year, even. =\ Left early with friends sometimes, though.

She trusts Holly to get to school by herself?! Some other 13-year-olds, sure, but this one??

Good one mom! Holly definitely needs some humbling. I took the bus to and from school all the time.

The bus is geeky, but getting a ride from your mom is cool?

Yeah, like “its” or “misspell”

True enough. Some posts have all the words spelled right, but the post is still completely incoherent.

Hey, Keb, learn how to text or twitter. Not only does spelling not count, it is even frowned upon!
