Amazing the party supportiing Elmer Fudd demands their oponents must indeed be supermen, solve all problems, including making sure their own profit margins aren’t harmed by the law. The sad part is that even Libertarians and independents must depend on “finance” to fund their seats in Congress, so the real “Joker” can’t be taken out by Batman, and Lex Luthor keeps a Kryptonite leash on Superman.
There are indeed stories in which Superman, like Holder, uses his power to avoid accountability for his actions. But usually those are the stories in which Superman has temporarily turned evil ….
The concept of phone booths may be making a come back. I read an article a few months ago about a couple of companies looking to resurrect and modernize phone booths. You would basically pay to enter the booth to use your cell phone shielded from the noise of a busy street.
