Rereading the comic, I wonder if Lady Liberty really is saying it in a rather sarcastic tone to this criminal – and the rest of O’failure’s administration.
Torture is legal; Gonzalez. We can tap your phones, spy on anyone, and cover up madam Justice, as breasts damage innocent minds and corrupt the law-Ashcroft. Drug dealing with Noriega is just good business, as long as we later kille a bunch of Panamanian civiliians to arrest him for moving the drugs I provide him- Ed Meese III.
I disagreed with some of Holder’s decisions, but he was far better than any AGs under Reagan, GWH, or “W”.
A reporter wisely said, “Holder will be remembered for protecting civil rights while weakening civil liberties.” I agree with Mike5 on his point. Holder allowed bank and hedge fund managers to get away with destroying the American, and in some cases, the int’l, economy and only inflicted token fines that these groups will pass on to those who use their services. He also attacked and intimidated members of the press on occasions. He has done some good, but he has also done some bad. He will NOT be known as a ‘great’ AG, and should not. He wasn’t superman, but he also wasn’t Bobby Kennedy.Respectfully,C.
