SF and Berkeley are totalitarian cities with smiley faces. You must adhere to the progressive orthodoxy or be punished for not doing so. I am so glad to have left the Bay Area 20 years ago.
For all the “weird ways” of the Bay Area, we miss it terribly. Maybe we can get back there b4 we die. BTW if more areas taxed sugary drinks, it would be helpful, IMHO.
