Now we have so many Koch funded studies, who needs a govt, anyway? right? They even hired a climate scientist to disprove global warning. Guess what, he confirmed it for them instead and yet,… they’d rather sponsor people$ ignorance -kind of like this cartoon panel. I’ve not heard of a ’gov’t study’ in ……? a long time. Congress is too busy ‘studying’ their unearned paychecks and suing the President with OUR money.
The “revelations” from those studies change/reverse so often, I don’t trust them. What’s good for you today is bad for you tomorrow.. My doctors are particularly gullible, and just won’t let well enough alone.

Yesterday an intelligent and educated liberal I know asked me if there is any difference between a conservative and a Republican. All she knows is she’s a Democrat. Yep, that’s all she knows, but she still gets to vote.
As far as “Climate Change” you will never get the truth of it until you get the money and politics out of the equation.
Keep in mind (especially this election) that politicians have no interest in actually fixing problems. If they did, they would have to find another platform to run on.
These people and other people with agendas are not interested in truth, they are interested in grandstanding their point while the brain-dead sheeple lap it up like so much cool aide.

Here’s the truth, things are seldom black or white, red or blue.
The truth is if you can’t even acknowledge that the other side may have a valid point, then you are nothing more than an ideologue and incapable of having an honest discussion of the issue.
If you close your mind to the idea that any point of view other than your own is valid, then you are part of the many problems facing this country and the world at large.
Remember that old line…. “United we stand divided we fall.”
How united are we these days when the opposition is the face of all evil in this country.
I’m not saying we should agree on every point, that stifles progress. However, we should be open enough to each-others point of views to at least consider there may be a valid point being put forth.
Now I will, get off my soapbox and sorry for hijacking this thread. I am just so sick and disgusted by the hyper-partisanship in this country.
