What a GREAT Sunday!!! A friend called me Friday night and asked if I was open Sunday and I said I had nothing that I couldn’t put off. Turns out his friend had an open spot on his VERY nice fishing boat so we went fishing. THE MOST GORGEOUS DAY at the Oregon coast just a short way up the Columbia River by the Astoria bridge with very flat, calm water. we caught 9 Coho salmon including a 12 pound native I caught that was doing a tail dance on the water and jumping like crazy. Had to let that one go because it was a native but what a rush! The boat owner even filleted the fish! Fresh salmon for dinner! AWESOME DAY!
