    Looks like a pasty; looked up some recipes and it is like a pasty just had different fillings. I did compare the dough ingredients though.

    @Timothy MadiganTo-mae-toe, To-mah-toe.Pasty, Empanada.Regardless of the name I am sure they all taste good…except for the cabbage and turnip filling.

    I wore a “Menudo, Breakfast of Champions”, T-shirt to work. Another anglo tech asked me, “What’s Menudo?” I enjoyed describing it (It’s cow tummy!) while he turned a bit green & left the room. OK, I exaggerated a bit ’cause the guy was a jerk. My Hispanic co-workers smiled.
