I like salt on my steak, but if you salt the whole thing the salt dissolves in the juices. So I cut of three or four bites at a time and salt them as I go. Looks silly, but it works for me. I also salt pizza and canteloupe— brings out the flavor.
I do have high BP, so that’s about my limit, salt-wise.
