YES. I live in a place where it is considered rude to say “No” to requests for help, invitations etc. However it seems to be okay to totally lie when saying Yes to whatever. So they say they will help, or attend, or meet up, or whatever…and they don’t. I’d rather they be honest than “polite.” We’re adults, deal with it. Say what you mean, and mean what you say.
