I remember a movie once parodying the Jaws scene where everyone’s fleeing the beach because of a shark attack—“Wait a minute: Sharks can’t leave the water…” Isn’t the same thing true of cephalopods? So that’s one species not to concern yourself with, T-Rex…as long as you avoid the relevant ecotone.
