I must admit that certain other body parts get more of my attention.

I believe they’ve disproved the whole 10% idea. Not sure you can actually quantify how much you use.

Actually, we use “all” of it. We just only use 10% at any moment in time.

Psychological research has established the 10% idea as a myth.

Depends on the time of day. Early morning, before coffee, I don’t use much. Coffee wakes up the sleepy parts. At work, I sometimes need to use more than I have. I call those Monday’s. Doing housework doesn’t require much anymore they seem to be automatic responses. It takes more brainpower to ignore the mess. Having to help with homework however can be mind boggling. The question I have is can you teach an old tired brain core math?

Whatever part of it I require to accomplish the task at hand. That may mean just zoning out and following instincts, or working out a puzzle (as this week I figured how best to make full use of a lovely 4 yards of a fabric that I bought cheap at a swap). I took a full day deciding how best to cut it (then had to stow it all away for my Open House). Tomorrow I will begin to sew it all. Today I’m reading another mystery novel that I borrowed from BF.

I just got home from the other side of town.
